How amazing is it that when someone is in need, so many people spring into action! I have been completely in awe of how many people have ordered Team Roxie shirts! I not only have received orders online, but have had supporters calling me to put in their orders!
So far, Wear It Out Loud, has been able to donate $1,370 to The Schopp Family Fund! And the orders keep coming in! I feel blessed and privileged to be able to do this for such a sweet little girl and her family! And it is because of everyone who has ordered a shirt, that I have been able to do this! I am simply a small part of something so big!
And the shirts are at the printers! I am sure everyone is as anxiously awaiting the arrival of their Team Roxie shirts! I know I am anxiously awaiting the call from my wonderful friend and printer, Rich, at Magestic Creations Screenprinting and Graphics, that the first batch of tees are ready! He is hard at work printing a large number of tees as part of theTeam Roxie team. Again, I need to thank him for donating his time and printing resources to this wonderful cause! I will be posting pictures as I send out the first round of tees!
So, thank you to everyone for being a part of Team Roxie!

Last week, Team Roxie was formed. Not because we were about to run a race or have a new business venture...but because our dear friend's sweet three year old daughter was diagnosed with cancer! That is what I said, cancer! This beautiful little angel who has barely lived her life is now faced with a challenge that most of us will thankfully never have to deal with!
Yesterday, her diagnosis was official. She has Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma (http://bit.ly/2q49eF). No family or child should ever have to endure this burden. But, Roxie and her family do.
And so...Team Roxie was created to help support and give hope to Roxie and her family! Friends, family and strangers are coming together to show support for this little precious life and her family!
Wear It Out Loud, with the support of our friends (Julie Jawor, graphic design and Magestic Creations Screenprinting and Graphics), is getting involved because we want to do what we can to make the burden a bit lighter...
Team Roxie shirts are now available for Pre-order through Wear It Out Loud. 100% of the profits will be donated to The Schopp Family Fund!
Also, please take the time to visit the Team Roxie blog to follow her story, help her family and lend your support!

Thank you, Kat
(And I know Roxie would thank you too!)

November is the month in which we celebrate what we are thankful for. We really should celebrate what we are thankful for year round and I am sure most of us do. However, this month, people seem to want to tweet or facebook their daily thanks!
I am of course thankful for my family that includes two healthy children and a loving (and healthy) husband. As I type this, my two children are screaming at each other at the top of their lungs while my husband is watching football! But, I am still thankful LOL! Some days I am just more thankful than others hahaha! We also have our puppy Abbey to be thankful for even though she eats our shoes, any food we leave sitting out on the table and the kids toys. Again, some days we are more thankful than others!
I am also thankful for my parents who continue to be as supportive today as they were when I was growing up. They continue to put my needs, as well as my families needs, before their own needs. And I continue to tally everything up in my own head so, that one day, I can repay them for all the good they have done in my life!
Of course I am thankful for my wonderful friends. Many of them are like my sisters, my family! The ones who have been around no matter what! It is so rare to find friends who love you for who you are, even when you go in different directions. Because no matter what direction you are going in at any given point, they are always there when you make a u-turn and go back!
Lastly, I am thankful for so many more things! So may that I could not possibly list everything in one blog! I am thankful for my health, the roof over my head, the food on our table, the clothing on our backs! I am thankful for having a good life and being lucky enough to follow my dreams. The list goes on and on!
What are you thankful for?

We survived our first week back on the map! Orders are coming in and the website is working without a hitch! I am tagging, folding, packaging shirts and shipping them to our wonderful customers! Our Facebook page fans keeps increasing and the feedback has been great! We participated in a Fall Marketplace and learned a lot! What pros some of these vendors are! I have lots of ideas for our next event!
I am waiting on the final shipment of our new Midnight Blue shirts to come in so that I can have more Happy Wife, Happy Life short sleeve shirts printed! The color is great for Fall! And I can't wait to add it to my own tshirt wardrobe!
Now just hoping that everyone continues to spread the word and love our shirts! So, pass it on to your friends and family! Let's get everyone to Live, Laugh, Love out loud!

So, we are off! Hoping the website doesn't malfunction and that everything works! Guess we will see as soon as I get that first order....which I am hoping for haha! But, I am proud of how far this has come so far! Always a good thing!
On a completely separate note, with all these new beginnings... I have also started a 30 day cleanse/detox. Yep, started yesterday. And so far, I am a tad hungry for the good ole sugar and fast food! This isn't about dieting and losing weight but I am trying to retrain my brain and body to eat clean and healthy. I have never been the best eater....a bit picky and then picking the wrong foods. And I have seen how my eating has rubbed off on my kids. I'm pretty sure my daughter hasn't eaten a vegetable in 6 years! I am ashamed to admit that but the truth hurts! My son is only two, so I am able to get some into him once in awhile, but, he is even starting to resist! Yikes! They are both great fruit eaters so I push that everyday at least...yep at least!
Anways, I figured, I would start with myself and encourage them along the way. So for me, it's no caffeine, no alcohol (going to miss my wine) and picking healthier choices. There are quite a few other things I am supposed to give up but those are the two biggest ones. Oh, no sugar and no dairy but I only eat yogurt anyways so I just changed to plain greek yogurt..figured that is a compromise haha!
So, I will let you know if I survive all these new beginnings because I am sure you really want to hear all about it! But, hey, keeps life interesting..not that it isn't interesting enough as it is!
Love, Kat

So, as I am about to launch my new website, sweat beads on my forehead... Did I do everything right? Will it work? Will anyone even visit my site and buy a shirt? Well, the only way to find out is to hit that "launch your site" button.
I have worked hard the past couple of months to put it all together. And love it or hate it, I did it! Not that I need to pat myself on the back...which I have done over and over though haha! I really had no idea what I was getting into. But, as much work as it has been, I truly have enjoyed every step of the way so far. And I have met some great people along the way who have been so willing to help and support me.
What fun we had doing our very first Wear It Out Loud modeling shoot! I am blessed to have had some of my close friends be involved in this project from doing the models makeup to actually modeling the shirts! And I can't thank Liz Kane-Blanco Photography enough for the fabulous shots she took! Liz is a great photographer and she is a lot of fun! She found us a great location utilizing a yoga studio in Delray Beach. Quite creative if you ask me. She was thoughtful enough to bring us healthy snacks and drinks too! Be on the lookout for some fun picture posts from that day!
And then it was off to find a local South Florida printer to continue creating the soft vintage inspired tees that we already have! I was fortunate enough to come across a company called Cotton King, Inc! I admit I was a bit nervous as I headed to meet with them because I am, afterall, a total newbie to the Tshirt business. And as I sat down with Weston Cotton (yep one half of the duo), the first thing he asked me was if I knew what I was getting into....of course! I laughed, told him I was in and there was no turning back.. Now Weston was a super cool guy with super cool hair...just had to add that! His partner Tom King (yep the other half) was just as cool and together they really know their stuff. Besides being cool they were incredibly nice too! I watched a you tube video of Tom explaining how the printing process works, was given a tour and left excited that I would be doing business with them. They were the right guys to ensure that Wear It Out Loud, LLC would continue to deliver the highest quality and softest feel printed shirts!
So.... wish me luck as we re-launch Wear It Out Loud, LLC! A little extra luck never hurt anybody :-)

So, here it is.. Finally! My very first blog! I figured my first blog would maybe be good, maybe not so good. Since I am new to this whole thing, I am not really sure how it will turn out. Hopefully, it won't be too painful!
I am thinking that this wonderful world of blogging will allow me to introduce Things We Love! When I come across something that I think is super cool or maybe really tasty, I will share it with you! Then I will list it on our Things We Love page!
This will also be a place to share my experiences. My experiences as a woman, mom and friend. Things I encounter as a new entrepreneur and as I enter the world of vintage inspired T-shirts!
Lastly, I hope to have guest bloggers from time to time (aka my friends). That way, you aren't just getting my view on life but others as well. And some are far better story tellers and writers than me!
All in all, I hope to make you live, love and laugh out loud as we go through this journey! Kat
